PeriScan PIM 3 System

PeriScan PIM 3 System is a laser Doppler blood perfusion imager. It uses a low power laser beam to scan a tissue and color-coded images of the blood perfusion in the micro-vasculature are created. The advantage is that the microcirculation can be studied over a larger area, each image consisting of up to 255x255 discrete measurement points. Measurements are non-invasive and no physical surface contact is necessary.

PeriScan PIM 3 System has many different microcirculation applications in humans and animals.

Development of skin care products - UVA & UVB sunburn assessment
Angiogenesis and stroke model research (Animal test)
